FAQ
Do I use Harmos pellets alone or mix them with other fuel?
You have full flexibility! You can use Harmos pellets 100% alone (Solo Mode) for maximum flavor intensity, which is perfect for shorter cooks like steaks or burgers. For "Low & Slow" sessions (like brisket), we recommend mixing them (Blend Mode) with your regular charcoal or standard wood pellets. A 1:3 ratio (1 part Harmos to 3 parts standard fuel) creates a perfect balance of aroma and economy.
Will these pellets work in my pellet grill (Traeger, Pit Boss, etc.)?
Absolutely. Harmos pellets are engineered to standard dimensions and are compatible with all major pellet grill brands, including Traeger, Pit Boss, Weber, and Green Mountain Grills. They also work fantastic in smoker tubes or sprinkled directly over charcoal in a kettle grill.
Are the flavors artificial or chemically added?
Never. We pride ourselves on being 100% natural. Our pellets are made by compressing premium fruit wood sawdust with real, whole spices (like cumin seeds, cloves, and cinnamon). There are no artificial binders, oils, or liquid smoke additives. It is a clean, natural burn certified by SGS.
Does the spice flavor actually penetrate the meat?
Yes. Unlike rubs that sit on the surface, smoke particles are microscopic and penetrate deep into the meat fibers. As our pellets burn, they release the essential oils of the spices into the smoke, creating a multi-layered flavor profile (Top, Middle, and Base notes) that seasons your food from the inside out.
How should I store my pellets to keep them fresh?
Like all wood fuel, moisture is the enemy. We recommend keeping your Harmos pellets in their original resealable bag or transferring them to an airtight bucket. Store them in a cool, dry place (indoors or in a garage) to ensure they burn efficiently and produce the best smoke.
